Sony and Insomniac announced Spider-Man 2 right through the September 2021 PlayStation Showcase, set for free up in 2023. Spider-Man 2 follows each Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they face their biggest danger yet.
While the trailer stopped short of naming the sinister villain lurking in the shadows, Insomniac confirmed it's, certainly, Venom.

We’re so extremely joyful to proceed the adventure of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their most epic single-player adventure but, coming exclusively to PlayStation Five consoles in 2023.
While pushing the features of the console will likely be very exciting, we’re similarly pumped to craft all-new tales for Peter and Miles in this sequel. Just as in our earlier Spider-Man video games, we not only wish to tell a really perfect Super Hero story, but additionally deliver a compelling human story, one stuffed with center and humor that dives deep into the folks at the back of the masks.
Much of the improvement staff that brought you Marvel’s Spider-Man is returning to provide Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, including Bryan Intihar (creative director) and Ryan Smith (recreation director). Today’s sport footage trailer is simply just a glimpse at what’s in store in terms of the brand new abilities our heroes will gain, suits they're going to put on (more on that every other time), and the villains that will try to hunt them down. And speaking of villains, did you catch that final line on the end of the trailer?
We’re so satisfied to announce that Tony Todd (of Candyman reputation) can be voicing the symbiote-fueled Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We’re also extremely joyful to welcome again Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter, who will reprise their roles as Peter and Miles respectively. We’ve been lucky to paintings with so many extremely gifted actors in our Spider-Man video games, and Tony has been this type of superb addition to the forged.
